Ingrid works on the part of hospitality guests never see but always feel: the culture a team works in, and the leaders who set it.

Ingrid led Human Resources at Belmond from 2014, leaving in 2022 as EVP and Chief HR Officer. Across its hotels, trains, river barges and safaris, she guided the business through cultural change and a series of mergers and acquisitions, including the group’s acquisition by LVMH, and introduced the talent development tools that helped its people grow with it.

She has designed and delivered company-specific leadership programmes with INSEAD and CEDEP, and holds a Diploma in Clinical Organisational Psychology from INSEAD. Her assessment work draws on MBTI, EQ-i, Hogan, PPA and FIRO-B, and she coaches and mentors leaders at every level, in Dutch, English, German and Portuguese.

At CDR, Ingrid’s role has two sides. Through CDR Compass Suite, she coaches and mentors leaders at the moments their careers change direction. As an Advisor, she helps CDR judge what a CV can’t show: how someone will lead, and whether a culture will hold around them.
